Packages for your special day. The Romance Package includes roses, chocolates, candles, and a bottle of wine or champagne in your room. Cost is $125. Birthday Package includes, balloons, a fun flower arrangement, and a small cake. Cost is $125. All packages may be customized with a favorite flower, type of candy, or wine/champagne. Located at 4003 Hazard St., Houston, TX 77098 between downtown and the galleria, 6 blocks from the Menil Museum and Rothko Chapel; 16 blocks from Rice University and Saint Thomas University Driving Directions From Bush Intercontinental Airport(IAH): Follow the signs when exiting the Airport to reach 59. When you reach 59 go south by taking a right and merging onto the freeway. Stay on 59 south for 19 miles. Take the Shepherd Dr. exit. Turn right onto Shepard Dr. (first light). Turn right on Richmond (first light). Left on Hazard (first light). Drive 3 blocks. Modern B&B is a steel and wood structure on the right hand side of the street. Look for the airplane wing with 4003 on it. Park in either driveway to the left or right of the airplane wing or on the street. Please don't park in the driveway on Branard St. The drive is 25 miles or 31 minutes in ideal traffic conditions. From Houston Hobby Airport (HOU): Follow the signs when exiting the Airport to reach 45. When you reach 45 go north by crossing under the freeway and taking a left and merging onto the freeway. Take exit 46B on the left for 288 south/59 south toward Victoria. After half a mile merge onto 288 south. After half a mile take the exit onto 59 south toward Victoria. Take the Shepherd Dr. exit. Turn right onto Shepard Dr. (first light). Turn right on Richmond (first light). Left on Hazard (first light). Drive 3 blocks. Modern B&B is a steel and wood structure on the right hand side of the street. Look for the airplane wing with 4003 on it. Park in either driveway to the left or right of the airplane wing or on the street. Please don't park in the driveway on Branard St. The drive is 13 miles or 22 minutes in ideal traffic conditions. |
Transportation If you are not renting a car there are several options for transportation to and from the airport. 1. Taxi--Taxis cost approximately $52 from Intercontinental Airport and $49 from Hobby Airport. 2. Super Shuttle -- www.supershuttle.com or 1-800-Blue-Van $25 per 1 person $7 for each additional in your party. This is a shared van service. They have a counter at the airport in baggage claim. You can book in advance or go to the counter on arrival. The time the shuttle takes can vary. 3. Bus -- Price $2. (Bring Cash!) you can look up detailed schedule times at www.ridemetro.org. From Houston Intercontinental Airport - Depart from the stop at Bush IAH Terminal C on bus 102 "DOWNTOWN LIMITED" inbound. Transfer at Milam St. @ Franklin St. to bus 78 "Alabama/Greenway Plaza/Via Berry" southbound. Arrive at Alabama St. @ Hazard St. Walk 0.19 miles south on Hazard St. Modern B&B will be on your left at 4003 Hazard. The trip duration will at least 1 hour and 30 minutes. Please note, the buses run less often on weekends and holidays, making the trip time longer. From Houston Hobby Airport - Depart from the stop at Morley St. @ Broadway St. on route 73 "Bellfort/Galleria/Via Tex Med Ctr" westbound. Transfer at Texas Medical Center Transit Center to bus 26 "Inner Loop/Via Magnolia TC/Southeast TC" clockwise. Arrive at Shepard Dr. @ Branard St. Walk east on Branard 0.46 miles. Turn south (right) on Hazard. Modern B&B will be on your left at 4003 Hazard. The trip time will be at least 1 hour and 6 minutes. Please note, the buses run less often on weekends and holidays, making the trip time longer. |
